CAMOUFLAGE
What to expect
Following the procedure, expect the treated area to appear red and inflamed initially. Within the next day or two, the inflammation will subside, though redness may persist for about a week before transitioning to a dark brown colour. Increased cell turnover from needling may cause the skin to feel slightly dry and develop a crusty texture during this period. Itchiness is also common during this stage of the healing. It is important to keep the area moisturized. The brown will get lighter as skin heals. The lightening process varies client to client. 30% – 50% of the pigment may fade during the healing process. Area may appear to be healed, but camouflage can take 6-8 weeks to heal mostly but will continue to heal up to 9-10 months, (longer if skin is darker). If you are unsure of healing status please text pictures.
